Hello! I'm Maggie.

As a psychotherapist, i offer a holistic viewpoint

and practical results you can use in everyday life.

My goal is to provide a safe, confidential, compassionate, and productive environment where all of your emotions are welcome and all of your stories hold a deep meaning (which we will examine together). I work on the level of the human heart.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board Certified Coach with twelve years of experience counseling young adults and adults.

MY counseling APPROACH IS:

Relational:  I believe that all anxiety is a form of separation, from Self, others, community and Nature. I will engage in a collaborative process with you that aims at discovering what you’ve been separated from and way to reclaim connection that works for you. I will hold space for you and your story and offer feedback and a perspective that sometimes may be different from yours. My job is to see the bigger picture in the small picture, and vice versa. My office is a safe space.

Creative and Flexible:  I use a wide range of counseling and coaching techniques and adjust them to meet your needs. Props, art supplies and techniques from expressive arts therapies approaches can help us reach new depths of the therapeutic process. If we meet in the Hopewell office, we can engage in walk-and-talk therapy outdoors on the beautiful grounds of Sault Haus.

Results-Oriented:  I will actively work with you to design interventions, exercises, and thoughtful action steps if that’s what you’re looking for as part of your therapy process. Together we look for new ideas and solutions that create forward movement - however you define it. You will walk out of every session with a new tool or perspective that you can draw upon in your everyday life.
